For this issue, he reviewed Wunderlist, an app designed to keep us organized and making moves on our most demanding work (see How to be really good at getting stuff done, according to science).

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?

“I’d go to Japan, in a heartbeat. I’m really into watching foreign films and some of my favorites ones are Japanese. Films like Seven Samurai, Audition, and Akira were very influential to me and provided a fascinating window into Japanese culture. I would love the chance to immerse myself in their culture and experience their traditions firsthand. I also wouldn’t mind getting to eat some delicious ramen and sushi while I’m there!

How do you chill out when you’re stressed?

“Lifting some weights helps to calm me down and clear my mind. What keeps me in a good mood, however, is my six-year-old son. He’s the cutest, funniest, and kindest little boy you’ll ever meet. I love spending time with this kid! He has such an imaginative mind and puts his own twist on whatever we’re doing.”
